Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve
:offers one of the most extensive trail systems in Canada
for wilderness adventure activities including hiking, mountain
biking and snowmobiling. The Wolf Centre is one of
the largest enclosed wolf habitats in the world. Visit the
Astral Observatory for stargazing on summer
nights. The 'Walk in the Clouds' forest canopy tour, weekly Wolf Howls and
astronomy

Haliburton School of the Arts: offers more than 300 art courses
of all kinds (painting, iron sculpture, wood sculpture, furniture
making, glass blowing, photography, mosaics) to choose from in a variety of disciplines, some especially for kids.
